Summary:

Prototype:IT is seeking an outgoing and customer service-oriented Junior Account Manager (JAM) who has a passion for helping businesses grow, are persistent, and excellent at follow-up. The JAM will have the opportunity to build their technical and relationship management skills and help nurture long-term relationships with our customers. You’ll also play a key part by establishing yourself as a trusted IT partner to clients with solutions to keep their businesses productive.  

The Jr. Account Manager responsibilities include providing support to the Client Account Manager (CAM) to conduct proactive account reviews with current clients and working cross-functionally with departments to help gather relevant information. In this role, you will be assisting with various duties such as, coordinating meetings with clients, building strong relationships through regular communication, and creating reports on the status of accounts.  The JAM will also be communicating deliverables and timeliness regularly to the client to ensure success.

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience

  • 1 - 2 years of work experience in the field of account management or customer service is essential

  • Working experience with MS Office and CRM

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities

  • Must be able to learn new concepts, applications and technologies quickly

  • Ability to deal with changing priorities to complete tasks in a short period of time

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

This Position Entails:

  • Assist Client Account Manager with integration of new clients and develop existing client relationships

  • Manage a group of contracted clients to include:
    - Client retention
    - Client satisfaction
    - Procurement revenue
    - Full-service portfolio including extended services / offerings
    - Accounts Receivable (AR) Escalation

  • Client communications

  • Coordinate with project management team in order to leverage resources as needed

  • Assist with documentation related to the delivery of our managed services
