SALES DIRECTOR SUMMARY:
Prototype:IT is seeking a Sales Director who possesses a solid record of solution-based selling, understands clients’ strategic requirements and has proven success building a high-performance sales team. This position is responsible for growing sales - gaining new business in the SMB sector through to post-sales account management. The Sales Director manages the team in pre-sales lead generation, sales and marketing, and post-sale customer relationship management. He/she plans and implements sales and marketing programs, both short and long range, targeted at existing and new markets through their teams. This role insures the teams are properly staffed, trained, motivated and productive.
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or experience equivalent
5+ years’ experience in sales management
Proven track record of sales success through teams
Strong business acumen and effective communication skills
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management software (MS CRM and / or Salesforce Preferred)
Strong understanding of business operations and financial levers to ensure profitable sales
